Twisted Logic
Just when I thought it got better, you had to ruin it all over again. Or was it my wishful thinking in the first place?

Pile it up and it gets messier
You just feel like ripping your hair out of frustration. Yet, you feel distressed over what's happening around you. And to think that one thing might be ticked out of your list already? Don't be too relieved yet- there's more.

TRIP TO ZHUHAI, GUANGZHOU, SHENZHEN, MACAU & HONGKONG
Went for a 9 days trip with Granny (along with her relatives and friends. Among the 7 of us, I'm the youngest. The rest are 60+, 70 years old!) on the 2nd to 10th April. We went on tour on the first 5 and a half days. The rest of the days were free & easy.
Just a brief summary:
- Alighted at Macau and made our way to Zhuhai.
- Stayed at Zhuhai for a night. Went to Guangzhou on the 2nd day.
- Stayed at Guangzhou for a night; went to Shenzhen on the 3rd day and spent 2 nights there.
- Went back to Zhuhai, spent a night there and off to Macau the following day.
- Stayed at Macau for 3 nights before taking a flight back to Singapore.
Visited plenty of places and did tons of shopping. Anyway, during our 4 days at Macau, I went to Hong Kong twice. The first time was with the old folks- took a ferry together before I separated from them to go shopping alone and took a ferry back myself. Went and came back alone the 2nd time. It was really fun wandering around Hong Kong alone (with a map!)- obviously better with friends next time! (: On the last day at Macau, while my granny's relatives & friends took an earlier flight home, both of us went touring around Macau alone, with the help of the map. It was definitely a fun and fruitful trip! (You'll know why it's fruitful later!)

Granny & I (:

Kungfu benches

Some rural place at Dongshan (between Zhuhai and Guangzhou, I guess)

Magnificent show we watched at a tourist spot at Shenzhen

Unglam but great shot of me sliding! (quit laughing!)

Yay!

Love the colourful windmills!

At a bee farm

Bees inside!

This door knob is major!

Some place we visited at Guangzhou

Roadside market at Zhuhai

At a touristy place in Guangzhou

In a ferry towards Hong Kong

Vivienne Westwood at Causeway Bay!!

My favourite delicious Mango drink! *slurps*

Anyway, here's the picture of the stuff I've got for myself, excluding the ones I got for my friends and colleagues. Not surprising that my luggage exceeded my 4kg, despite having a 2 heavy hand-luggages and taking up 1/3 of my granny's luggage with my stuff! Okay, that's pretty crazy when I come to think of it.
BAKERZIN DINNER & DANCEAttended D&D the previous Monday, 20th April- first day of school! It lasted from 11pm to 2.15am at Changi SAFRA (Jumbo Seafood Restaurant). Met up with Glynnis first, went to her house and later fetched Lizhen from the train station before heading to our designated place. The theme this year was Shocking Pink. Well, obviously not everyone wore shocking pink! I wore shocking pink stockings- guess it'll be the first and last time I'm wearing it. Too bad I don't have a full length picture of me in it! D&D was pretty boring, though I can't deny we had a bit of fun & laughters too!

Mid-length dress and shocking pink stockings!
Alrighty! That kind of summarises what I've been to lately! (:

It just is
I've been neglecting my blog for more than 3 weeks. And for that past 3 weeks, weekdays were meant for attachment, weekends were meant for work. Seem like a person with no life at all! Ha oh well, I had my reasons. Life's been rocky these couple of weeks. And sometimes I just prefer being alone. I hate seeing both of them like that. I hate all those lies. And I hate myself for being such an idiot- to think I've been ignorant all this while made me realise how silly I am!
On a lighter note, I went to watch Coldplay's concert just now! It was damn brilliant, super engaging and exceptionally fun! Cheryl and I were singing, clapping, jumping and dancing along- totally enjoying and soaking into the hyped up atmosphere! The concert lasted almost 2 hours. Seriously, this Grammy award winner is superb! Best concert I've seen yet! Chris Martin could really interact with the audience well! Furthermore, the 10 000 people who attended sang their hearts out most of the time! Not forgetting, Cheryl and I were star-strucked- screaming our heads off when Coldplay was performing! Haha, we're one of their hardcore fans, okay! Oh, we went to collect a few pretty butterfly confettis which were "blown" from a machine, (part of the effects of a song) after the concert. Don't laugh! Pictures coming up in the next post!
