ACHIEVEMENT

I went for the Nikeplus run today! Mom initially signed up for herself, but she asked me to run instead after seeing (on the day of the goodie bag collection) that most of the participants were around my age. HAHA! The race started at around 4.30pm. Weird timing, eh? But guess what? Other participants around the world are running at the same as us! It's pretty cool thinking about it ;)

I jogged most of the time. I walked at some parts due to human traffic and because I was really exhausted. Started picking up my pace at the 8km mark. When I saw the finishing point from a distance (around 2oom away), I was like, "finally!". Mom was waiting for me at the finishing point and she was really happy for me! Yay! Felt a sense of accomplishment too! It's my first mass run and I guess there's more to follow! :D Oh yes, the finishers get a bracelet too:

It's RED! And the tee is RED too! Heehee! :D

Oh and I had Burger King junk for the first time in over a year. Mom's "great" idea. (since she claimed she hadn't ate it for many years and that she parked her car at Millenia Walk and wanted to grab something more affordable for dinner.) I have to admit, the fries were delish! Guess it's because I didn't eat it for such a long time? (Besides Mos Burger's)

Perfect way to end August. :)

Anyway, life hasn't been that interesting lately, since I had exams and staying up late studying "with" Jasmine. I hope it's worth it, even though it's partially last minute. Oh well. *shrugs*

I had a fun Saturday with Yeun, Kit and Faith, despite the screwed-up AAP exam earlier that morning. Met them in the mid-afternoon and headed to Methodist School of Music because Yeun booked a studio to practice her piano exam pieces. Faith and I brought our badminton rackets as we were going to play badminton after that. Faith felt pretty bored thus, took out her badminton racket to self-entertain. (Well, she played with me initially, but I stopped to play the piano) And as always, Faith started "bullying" Kit.

CRAZY. Oh, Faith and I also took a ridiculous video of Kit spinning on the wheelchair, looking like a total goon! Really comical, we were laughing ourselves silly. Poor Yeun, I think she got distracted by our silly actions! We proceeded to Yeun's house thereafter to play a few rounds of badminton. We laughed our asses off- awfully entertaining. Should do this more often, yea? ;) It was around 7pm by then. Yeun's mom was extremely kind to treat Kit and I (Faith couldn't make it) to Mos Burger for dinner. (Thank you! :D ) What a Saturday!

I expect the rain to stop soon, 'cause I want to go swimming later in the evening!

Guess I should go start revising for PAS now! Till then!
