Kitkat, Yeun and I had our annual sleep over yet again this year. We went for the Christmas countdown in Orchard on the 24th. It was super squeezy and we could hardly move, which we eventually did, of course. :D People sprayed foam on us and I didn't really like it at all.

Me, Yeun and Kitkat. (Haha, Kitkat didn't bring Santa's hat along!)

We headed to Yeun's house after the countdown. Surprisingly, the train wasn't packed and we could grab seats for ourselves. We reached her house at about 1 plus in the morning, bathed and didn't sleep till around 6am. (actually, Kitkat punctured at about 5am) Ah well, I'm too lazy to blog about it. Read it at Kitkat's blog (dated 26/12)

However, I shall rant about this:
Singapore's a 'Clean and Green City?' Look at this mess the inconsiderate people made. ):< These empty foam tins were lying all over the area! It's so dangerous, someone might just slip and fall! Okay, you might be thinking this mess only happens once or twice a year, but what are dustbins made for? For you to poop? Even if the dustbins are like, overflowing, hold the empty tins in your hands and throw them in the next dustbin you see which is not filled. There are like, hundreds and thousands of dustbins in Orchard. And in almost every 5 to 10metres, you'll see a dustbin. It can't be that hard right? These inconsiderate people are only making the sanitary engineers' lives harder. Yea, you may oppose and claim that it's their job to do this work. But, do your part and contribute to the environment, please. (Haha, I feel like one of the PAP leaders! Dream on, Jody!)

Anyway, I found this picture in my computer. Look, Jiawen! This is ancient! You had messy hair! :D

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

(Alright, I know it's going to end soon.)

.Thursday, December 21, 2006 ' 10:53 pm Y

Yum yum. I love this picture my bro & I took early in the morning. :D

The weather has been cool these few days, which I like sometimes. The showers in the morning just make me reluctant to get out of bed, which I have to eventually. Lovely temperature for winter (just that Singapore doesn't have snow) but often the wet weather makes us hesitant in going out.

Anyway, I've yet to complete my holiday assignments. I've only done chemistry, social studies, some math and a few pathetic english questions. For all the times I told myself to do later, in the end, it'll not be done. Great, no determination.

Oh, I don't know why but recently after viewing Gimme Your Stuff website, I'm into making my own bags and pouches or even stuff toys and maybe accessories. Anything to do with fabric. I've told mum about this, and I expected an answer which she really did reply, "Next year O levels and you still want to do this kind of thing. After your exams then you do." Oh well.

4 days to Christmas! (excluding today) I made a really pretty card for horny Shilei, which I honestly couldn't bear to give it to her. (Shilei, post a picture of my card, okay! Heh!) I wanted to keep that card for myself, cos I feel so accomplished after making it & I'm so proud of the card I made! Heh. I'll make more cards tomorrow! So long! (:

I was out the whole day yesterday. My day started with piano lessons at 9am, but my teacher told me to wait till 9.30am. After that, I went to my beloved Jazreel's house. :D I miss her so much! Surfed the net with her and mock at 2 people which we don't even know. HAHA! Had lunch at her house and went to Old Ford Factory. Took plenty of pictures there! (I don't reckon we're supposed to do so. But, who cares. Heh.) Returned to her house and chatted. I needed to leave at 3.30, so Jazreel accompanied me to the bus-stop. Supposingly just to fetch me there, but she waited for the bus with me. HEH! Had so much fun with her, though only for a few hours. :D

Went to the SingPost at Westmall to send a parcel. Then I took a train towards Novena and met dearest Yeun there. Wanted to go to United Square for dinner, because we haven't been there before. We heeded Kitkat's instructions, which was to take the underpass to reach United Square. Yeun and I went to the underpass, and oh my, we reached Revenue House! Okay, so we headed toawards where we came from, and we didn't care about United Square anymore. We had dinner at Pepper Lunch at Novena Square or VeloCity. (Cos I suppose it's linked) We bought a stalk of white lily for Kitkat.

We took a bus towards Pek Kio CC where Kitkat's musical was held. We were fairly early as we reached the venue at 6.40pm when the musical only begins at 7pm. The chairs weren't set up, so Yeun and I thought that the organizers were late for setting up chairs.

OH MY GOD. Kids and more kids strolled in. Kids as in, 4 to 9 years old?! AHH! That's the reason why the chairs weren't set up- 'cos that musical was for KIDS. And Kitkat informed me that it's only going to be quite kiddy. (Oh, the musical only started about 7.30pm instead of 7pm) It was super kiddy, I tell you, except for the part where Kitkat's church choir sung, which was pretty good, though there were technical faults. The kids were so hysterical, loud and stubborn, as they can't listen to simple instructions. Well, Yeun and I were laughing throughout the whole thing. But half-way through, we were too tired to talk or laugh so we just "tried" to enjoy the kids event which was going on. Oh, luckily Kitkat's sister came, so we talked to each other. :D Then a magician came. Okay, the magic was quite impressive, that I must admit. Later, a fake santa claus came distributing presents to kids. Then it was lucky draw. (Yeun and I didn't know this activity was included. We could have gotten a prize if we knew. Heh.) After the lucky draw activity was done, everyone started going home. However the hilarious thing is, Kitkat's choir needed to sing the last song but everyone just left! OH MY! Honestly, I didn't know whether to feel bad for the choir or to laugh. Uh well, I laughed, of course. It was quite a funny sight. :D

Yeun and I joked with Kitkat that we regretted getting the lily for her and luckily we didn't buy a bouquet of small roses. HAHA! Well, Kitkat's parents fetched 4 of us home, including her sister. Kitkat's mum bought drinks for us. Thanks! (: Joked a lot during our journey home.

As for today, Kitkat and I were supposed to meet up for our usual jog at 7.15am. As usual, I'm 5 minutes late again, but when I reached our 'meeting place', Kitkat wasn't there yet, as she's punctual practically everytime. So I waited for her. And waited. And waited. I wanted to go home and give her a call, but I'm hesitant to do so as I'm afraid she'll come when I'm at home. So I just waited patiently and this domestic helper who was washing her employer's car (that's what I reckon) kept looking at me. Finally Kitkat came down at about 7.45/7.50am (I saw a passer-by's watch). The domestic helper saw Kitkat and turned to look at me. Haha, I think she must have thought I was freaky standing there for so long. Kitkat claimed that she woke up at 7.36am and tried to look for her spectacles but couldn't find it so she jogged without it. (Initially I thought she wore contact lenses. HAHA!)

Alright, here are some of the pictures Jazreel and I took yesterday! (:

I went to have my hair cut with Kitkat today. I like it, somehow. But once my hair grow longer, YAY, it'll look better. (:

Anyway, I've got no motivation to continue on my homework. Notice the word, continue? Cos I 've started and yes, I finished my Chemistry homework, surprisingly. (Have I mentioned this before?) Well, at least it's the first time I finished a piece of holiday homework so early. (: Congratulate me! :D Heh heh.

I've been waking up really late these few days. 10.30am was the latest, and that's bad.

My posts are getting boring and so random, unless something interesting pops up. Ah well.

BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S

I'm rotting now. I'm super super bored. ): I know I should do something productive like, read? Or play the piano? Or just pack my room. (It's not terribly messy, though)

Anyway, I want to revamp my room. I want to paint one of my walls in a different colour. My room's really light pink, by the way. So should one of the walls be in a darker tone of pink? Or maybe have it tangerine? Or yellow? Or green? Or blue? I want something pastel. Oh, and i read that, in 2007, pink is the "in" colour for rooms. YAY! (x

And I want a Audrey Hepburn portrait in my room. But the one I saw is bloody expensive. Maybe I should paint it then, as what Jiawen suggested. My painting's horrible, honestly!

Oh, and I need to get a haircut soon. Snip.

Kitkat's returning from Prague from tomorrow! I'm SOOOOOO happy 'cos I miss her like crazy. And I miss Yeun too. Ah, I miss everyone I'm missing! (x

(Heh, I stole the picture from your blog, J!)

I went to the LIME flea market with Jiawen yesterday & both of us bought plenty of stuff.(: We saw a pretty red with white polka-dot pouch which was really a steal-$4!! Unfortunately, there's only one. So I paid for it and throughout the next hour or so, we were thinking who should have it. Yup, so I sacrificed that and let Jiawen have it, since she likes it so much too. (J, you've got to return me $4 for that!)

Oh oh, and I collected my lovely jeans, too!

Aunt treated us dinner at NO SIGNBOARD RESTAURANT as Vivo City today, since her birthday falls on 13th Dec. Yum. (x

And Vivo's car-park is really crap.

I need to save up cash for Christmas presents & I want to sit on a cable-car again.

.Friday, December 08, 2006 ' 11:35 pm Y

I swear I feel so screwed up now & damn, I don't know why I'm feeling this way.
Like, WHAT THE HELL, I know.

Hopefully feeling better tomorrow morning before going for a long jog.

GOODNIGHT, I know this is so random.

On the previous Sunday, my family and I woke up at around 4am, to get ready for the Standard Chartered Run. Well, of course my brother & I didn't run. (x A couple of my parent's running friends met us at our void deck to head to Marina Square together to park their cars.

We reached at about 5.30am and we walked towards the starting point, which was somewhere near the Esplanade. The people signed up for the 42km route started the race first. Next was the 21km route, which my parents and their friends took part. Then the 10km route and so forth.

Before the 21km run began, my brother and I walked towards The Fullerton Hotel. Of course we didn't go in, we stood by the road, awaiting for the runners. (A couple of roads were closed, by the way) Within a couple of minutes, a group of Nigerian runners ran past us and they were really fast. Soon, the people who took part in the 21km ran past. My bro and I cheered and took pictures of them running. Most of the Western people acknowledged our cheers. Whist for the Singaporeans..well, not as outspoken as them. Saw my parents and their friends at different intervals! Oh, we saw a really cute old Japanese man! (x (Damn, Blogger doesn't allow me to post the photos, but i will once Blogger allows me to!)

Dad finished the run under 1 hour 50 minutes while my mum finished under 2 hours 30 minutes. Not bad. (: My parents told me to join the 10km run with Kitkat & Yeun next year! (x

Mum's not bringing me to HK already. ): Boo. Firstly, she's busy with work. Secondly, the tickets are too expensive. Thirdly, the seats are fully booked, unless we want to sit in business/first class, which would definitely cost a lot. Alright, I should look on the positive side. I went to Perth this year, so yea, I can always go overseas next year. (I'm trying to make myself happy)

Oh well, tomorrow's Thursday, nearing the end of the week, which means school is going to reopen in like, 3 weeks time?! ): AHH!

.Friday, December 01, 2006 ' 5:33 pm Y

Happy 101st Post, after more than a year. Shows that I blog really little. Heh. (:

Today's 1 Dec. Oh god, one more month of holiday!

On Wednesday after tuition, I went to Kitkat's house. We had fun, cos we intended to do homework but being such a 'great' influence & a talkative person, (heh heh!) Kitkat didn't do her homework, and neither did I. Uh, alright, Kitkat did one piece of assignment. And I only did 1 question. (:< Read more at her blog: http://strawwberryheartt.blogspot.com Dated 29 Nov. I'm lazy to type it out. Haha! (Kitkat! I'm promoting your blog again! Heh!)

Anyway, I went to help mum at work yesterday, 'cos one of her employee (which is my Uncle) went to Sydney to visit his son, so Mum needed a pair of extra hands. That occupied my morning and afternoon. My parents were invited to Four Seasons Hotel for a wedding dinner. Bro & I weren't invited though. Since Four Seasons Hotel is just beside Wheelock Place, my parents alighted me at town, to walk around alone. To my surprise, they were many people shopping on a Thursday. Perhaps it's because Christmas is arriving, so many people are purhcasing presents? (: Bought myself a notebook from Kinokuniya and gosh, I saw so many things I admired from the shops I went to! (:< My last stop was Borders, since it closes at 11pm. Glanced around and wanted to purchase a mouse pad last minute, which was around 10.37pm? But the queue was terribly long! So once mum called, I took a minute/2 minute to reach the hotel. However, the dinner yet to end though, so my dad suggested to go to the ballroom. I didn't want to (though I really wanted!) cos I was wearing casual in a 5-stars hotel, and imagine going to a wedding dinner in it? I won't feel good cos I'm not wearing formal. I loitered at the lobby, and I not wanting the staff to think I'm a mysterious freak, I went to the 2nd level to check out the toilet!

The first thing I saw when I entered!

Turned to my left and saw this table! There's a cushioned stool actually!

Yup, the sinks! There's small towels to wipe your hands dry!

Close up!

You dump the used towels into this bin!

The cubicles!

Up close! My first impression of the cubicle doors was thinking that there's a suana inside! Haha!

And as for the toilet bowl and all, it's the same, just that the railings inside are coated with gold colour. i don't suppose they're real gold!

Soon, the wedding dinner ended. Met my parents with granny & aunt and headed home. (:

That's all, non-aliens!
