The ice is getting thinner
Happy Birthday, Mom. It'll be different from the previous years. Still, both of us will make it a point to celebrate with you every year.
To think I'm unaware of almost everything; you're so wrong. You're the smart one. How much sillier can I get? Yet...

No sunlight
"Well, what's done is done. We do regret certain things in life, but what's most important is to correct it and not to make the same mistakes again. But be careful not to dig the pit too deep until you can't get out of it."
How true, G, how true..

Underneath the skin
Finally I understand self-denial is only a temporary source of comfort. It eventually gets worse once you find out what you've been kept in the dark about. Quit lying, quit doing stuff behind people's back. "I'll never be able to fool you." Indeed, seems that you can never. But you've made a fool out of yourself. And I think I'm just the same. Why am I still trying to come up with a good reason to speak up for your doings? What's your explanation? It's hard to ignore.

11 Feb 2009
Jasmine and I planned a small surprise for Rachel on her 18th birthday and I'm glad it turned out pretty well! And she was really surprised with all the gifts we got for her, too! It's always gratifying to see someone so amazed! Happy (belated) Birthday Rach! Lots of love from me to you! :D
Love from a different angle
Met up with Glynnis after school yesterday! I was incredibly delighted to see her after such a long time! Went to Cineleisure and I pulled her into Diva. Saw plenty of great accessories and the loveliest surprise (besides the handmade card from her) was that she surprised me with the rainbow heart ear-studs (knowing that I loved it when I first saw it but I complained that it was overpriced and to wait till the sale period before I lay my hands on it!) and the pretty butterfly necklace! She got the purple one whilst I've got the pink one. Thanks Glyn <333 Went walking around Taka and bought donuts for the Bakerzin-ers. Missed them (especially the chefs!) a lot so we went back to visit. Purchased a few macaroons to share and headed to Ben Sherman as she wanted to get something for her brother. Continued walking around town and Liat Towers ZARA burns holes in our pockets! Glynnis bought the same heels as mine (which I got the other time), bought similar hair accessories, similar leggings (but of different colour).. YAY! Was almost 8pm by then so we headed to Starbucks to get Caramel Frappe and started chatting till 11pm. Joshua came to look for us afterwhich (with the ferrero rocher 'flower' for Glyn and I!) and we walked all the way to Somerset Station. Discussed on where to go and finally decided to go to Bukit Timah to have supper. Boarded the train and I headed home to shower whilst they waited for me downstairs. (Felt a bit embarrassed though, but I HAD to shower badly!! And I felt pretty rebellious too; going out in the wee hours of the morning without my parents' consent but oh well! Ha! ) It was about 1.20am by then , so we took a cab down. The stall was crowded and noisy, but we still had our supper! I needed the toilet real bad so we went to Beauty World's MacDonalds. Sat there to chit-chat and took a few photos until around 5am! I had to reach home before my parents woke up so we hailed a cab and I alighted first. Luckily my parents didn't realise my absence! HAHA! And I didn't know we could talk so much! Such chatter-boxes! Heh. Shall do this again after exams! :D
Anyway thanks Glyn, for everything. You should know <3

Can't be saved?
We're all into this. Drifting apart from our years together as one. Changes caused this instability within us. I expect it won't get any better.

All I see
I watched 2 movies with Rachel this week: Bride Wars and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Bride Wars was a last minute decision because Changeling isn't showing in cinemas already- how disappointing! Benjamin B. was an awesome film. It was really heart-wrenching , especially towards the end of the show. Their (the 2 main actors) undying love for each other melted my heart! Well worth my $6, unlike the cheap (not chic) flick..Ha!
Anyway I've stopped work for the entire month due to the upcoming exams. So this means that I've got to stop having so much fun and start gluing my ass to the chair to study (diligently. Haha!) starting from Saturday onwards. I better promise myself that. (hopefully, please!)
My body clock is pretty wrecked these few days and my right eye is puffier than the left. Great, thanks to sleepless nights, too.
Thanks Glyn <3
