Okay, so the picture above wasn't taken today. And it's funny how I smiled like that in the picture as it's not my usual "camera-smile".

The last day of 2008 was spent working from 9.30am to 6pm (finally, I finished work at 6 instead of the usual 10.30/11pm!) with heavy eyelids and a stupid customer who sort of ruined my mood over the phone and the never-ending queue. My mood lightened up when Glynnis (eventually!) came to work! She was almost an hour late because she went for a hair cut. Don't worry Glyn, you look adorable with the bangs! And! I saw fashion designer Ashley Isham! I got really thrilled! Ran an errand for Bakerzin before leaving work and took a bus to Bukit Timah to meet my family for dinner. Came home, showered and went to granny's house to have some finger food as my aunt threw a mini party there. Almost slept on granny's (awesome!) OSIM massage chair till I finally convinced myself to go home, despite my mom telling my brother and I to go to their friend's house for supper. No more 3rd round! So I came home and watched the fireworks from my bedroom alone and fell asleep soon after that.

So today's a brand new year even though it seems like any other ordinary day. We still have our problems to face, our challenges to meet, but one will never know what great things the new year might bring.
