On the previous Sunday, my family and I woke up at around 4am, to get ready for the Standard Chartered Run. Well, of course my brother & I didn't run. (x A couple of my parent's running friends met us at our void deck to head to Marina Square together to park their cars.

We reached at about 5.30am and we walked towards the starting point, which was somewhere near the Esplanade. The people signed up for the 42km route started the race first. Next was the 21km route, which my parents and their friends took part. Then the 10km route and so forth.

Before the 21km run began, my brother and I walked towards The Fullerton Hotel. Of course we didn't go in, we stood by the road, awaiting for the runners. (A couple of roads were closed, by the way) Within a couple of minutes, a group of Nigerian runners ran past us and they were really fast. Soon, the people who took part in the 21km ran past. My bro and I cheered and took pictures of them running. Most of the Western people acknowledged our cheers. Whist for the Singaporeans..well, not as outspoken as them. Saw my parents and their friends at different intervals! Oh, we saw a really cute old Japanese man! (x (Damn, Blogger doesn't allow me to post the photos, but i will once Blogger allows me to!)

Dad finished the run under 1 hour 50 minutes while my mum finished under 2 hours 30 minutes. Not bad. (: My parents told me to join the 10km run with Kitkat & Yeun next year! (x

Mum's not bringing me to HK already. ): Boo. Firstly, she's busy with work. Secondly, the tickets are too expensive. Thirdly, the seats are fully booked, unless we want to sit in business/first class, which would definitely cost a lot. Alright, I should look on the positive side. I went to Perth this year, so yea, I can always go overseas next year. (I'm trying to make myself happy)

Oh well, tomorrow's Thursday, nearing the end of the week, which means school is going to reopen in like, 3 weeks time?! ): AHH!
