had a new choir instuctor today. okay..i can't say new, cos he is our sch's very first outsider instructor for choir. yeah. the instructor is a male, mind u. and for god-knows-why..our choir consists only GIRLS. why dosen't the guys aprreciate singing? it ain't gay, you know. haha. the warm up was really nice, especially when he plays the piano. have "background" music one..so it makes the music more interesting..unlike the usual plain ones. haha. and lucky thing, he said that he will take his own music scores to let us sing..and i don't think it'll be in english anymore. GREAT!! however, we'll be starting with 3 malay folk songs. errrr... okay. better than singing english ones all the time. at least we'll get to try smth different. er, well, yeah..i sang a japanese folk song when i was in my primary school choir. i still can remember part of it. (:
anyways, he played the scale for each of us and we must sing individualy. not fair leh. he only play the high part once and loads of low parts which obviously, i couldn't exactly reach it. and then i told him that i can't ( b'cos i wanted to be in sopprano) and he said " you've got a nice low sound" i was like...whatever lah. then i told him i couldn't reach the note. and he replied that my other alto members wil get influenced by my sound and cover up for me. oh thanks. dunnoe whether he's trying to make me feel better or what. haii. then i told the teachers-in-charge. and one of them said that " not many people can do alto". again, i dunnoe whther she's trying to make me feel better or not. oh wells. i should look on the brighter sight. maybe it will be a good experience with alto since i've been in sopprano for a few years? maybe.. but i doubt it man.
oh yes. i've just got my mp3 player FINALLY. (: heehee. i bought a ZEN neeon. the front is black and back is purple. really cool. i was pondering whether to get the pink or purple one. but since i've always been getting pink..so i thought, why not get smth diff? haha. (: it's 5GB. can load about 2500 songs. (: actually wanted to get ipod nano..but compare them: iPod Nano-1GB, $348; ZEN neeon-5GB, $329. see the huge difference? heehee. happy already lah. a normal mp3 player satisfies me already. don't wanna get complicated ones. cos i'm a technical illiterate. hee. (: but i wanna buy a earphone..or whatever to call that..cos the darn earpiece cant stay in my ear. damn. gotta save some cash man.
tomorrow's "moderation and promotion day". so we don't need to go to school. good. BUT i'll be rotting at home. damn. oh wells.
